Before Christmas I would like you to finish up to chapter 10. This week because you have a bit more reading you only need to look up 10 vocabulary words and tell their meaning.
I will check in with you next Friday but there will not be an assignment over the Winter Break!

VOCABULARY
BREAKFAST:The first and most important meal of the day.
MOUNTAIN:A natural elevation of the earths surface.
DISGUISE:To dress up as someone else rather than you to sneak in and out of certain places.
BLACK:An extremely dark color.
ELEVEN:A cardinal number between 10 and 12.
EDUCATION:An act of knowledge such as school.
RED:A primary,bold,blood-like color.
POCKET:A piece of fabric inside or outside a garment and forming a pouch used for carrying small articles.
SUN:A big yellow star located in space used to bring down light,heat and energy.The sun is also used for electricity which we call Solar Power.
PROUD:To have or show self-esteem.
CONFIDENT:To feel brave,proud or strong.

#10-karachi- a kart on wheels used to sell things in the market.
