For this week I would like all of you to read up to Chapter 13. You will also need to respond here on the blog or in your journal. I would like you to do a retelling of the three chapters. Please also make a prediction about what will happen next.

This is a test....
R:Parvana and her friend, Shauzia find a job that offers alot of money and it is digging bones and giving them to a man who sells them. Parvana promises her friend Shauzia that she won't tell her family about them but she still does. Her family tells her that she can't dig up graves and bones anymore because they're not that poor but Nooria stand up gor her so she continues. Parvana and Shauzia go to a game but mistakenly the Taliban come in along with a few prisoners. The Taliban then took a sword a cut off one of the prisoners arms. Shauzia screamed as blood flew all over the place. Parvana stayed home for a few days because she wanted to spend more time with her family. They went for walks and sat outside in the sunshine.During her days off she helped Maryam on her counting, fetched water, tried to learn mending from Nooria and listened to Mrs.Weera's stories. Although they weren't as good as her father's they where still entertaining. When Parvana got back to work Shauzia told Parvana thatr she was planning to get out of Afghanistan. Since Shauzia told Parvana a secret Parvana thought that she would tell Shauzia hers. Parvanas secret was: "This secret person is aways throwing me down gifts. It's a real mystery" Parvana was planning on telling her family about the myterious person but instead they had something to tell here. Nooria was getting married!
P: I think that Nooria will pospone her marraige at the last minute because she will miss her family.

R= the girls are being bad and digging and selling human bones, there not doing there job. there getting sneaky and when she closedher eyes, she would see skulls. she finally told her mom that she was digging up graves her mom reacted disapointed.They would sell cigarettes and gum.They thought they would sell lots of cigarettes and gum at a soccer game, but talibans were cutting off prisoners hands off.Shauzia is planning to move to France by herself but shes worried that she'll grow too much and people will notice.

F=I feel bad for parvana because Shauzia was making her lie and do what she told her to do.
Parvana and Shauzia go bone digging with out her parents knowing. In the middle of bone digging Parvana had to go to the washroom but there was no bathroom. She asked Shauzia where to go. She saw a slightly broke down building she said to go there. So Parvana went there, but she was scared because in some broken down buildings there were mines she stepped in but nothing happend. They went home with all the money. Her mom was worried why she was not home for lunch. Her mom got her to tell every thing. But she letParvana continue. She needed a few days of so she stayed home. The day she returned to work with Sauzia. They sold gum at the soccer game. They showed what they did to thiefs. They killed a man. At home Nooria started a secret school. Her mom anounced a big thing. Nooria was getting married.

R-Shauzia and Parvana were going to dig up bones to earn more money. When it was time for Parvana to go back for lunch, she said she was going to keep digging because of all the money they've made so far. When she came home, mother asked where she had been. Parvana said that she was working but mother didn't believe her. Parvana couldn't help it and told mother everything. Mother got mad and told her not to dig for bones anymore. Nooria took Parvana's side and told mother that they needed that money and finally mother had to agree. Two weeks later, they had enough money to buy trays. When Parvana got back to her letter writing something landed on her head from the mysterious woman who was giving her gifts before. One day they came across thousands of people were. The girls thought it was a soccer game so they went in to sell their things. Soon they found out that this isn't a soccer game. Prisoners started coming in. One of the soldiers cut off one of the prisoner's arms. Shauzia screamed but Parvana covered her mouth. Parvana stayed home for a while. When she went back to the market Shauzia told Parvana that she was going to go to France alone next spring. Parvana agreed to keep Shauzia's secret. One day Parvana heard screaming and crying. When she got home, mother told Parvana that Nooria was getting married.
P-I think that Nooria's wedding would be canceled for some reason.

R-Nooria getting married reminds me of some of the chinese shows I've watched where some people were forced to marry peoople thy've never even seen before.
F- I feel surprised that Nooria is getting married.
R-parvana and shauzia were going to dig up bones.but parvana didnt think it was a good idea. so she wasnt able to tell her mother thatthey whent bone digging. they saw boys going bone digging bones.[arvanas mother thought she was arrested. parvana evenchualy told her mother that she was digging graves . nooria wasnt too happy. and parvana had to stay home for a few days and coach maryam with her counting.
